Terms of Service

KinaTrust provides a digital wallet and payment platform through which you can purchase airtime and data bundles, pay electricity and cable TV bills, buy examination PINs, and perform identity verification services (such as NIN and BVN checks) within Nigeria. We act as an aggregator: the underlying products are fulfilled by mobile networks, utility companies, examination bodies and licensed identity providers.

• You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account.
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or use the service under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
• Notify us immediately at contact@kinatrust.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

• Wallet funding is processed by our licensed payment partners. Your wallet balance is not a bank account and does not earn interest.
• All prices and fees are displayed before you confirm a transaction. Airtime and bills are charged at face value unless otherwise stated; some services (such as identity verification) carry a clearly displayed service fee.
• Transactions are executed immediately and cannot be cancelled once submitted.

If a purchase fails after your wallet has been debited, we retry it automatically. Where fulfilment remains impossible, the full amount is refunded to your wallet. Refunds for disputed transactions are processed after investigation with the relevant provider; contact contact@kinatrust.com with your transaction reference to raise a dispute.

• NIN, BVN and similar lookups are performed through licensed channels strictly for lawful purposes such as identity confirmation and KYC.
• You must have the data subject's consent, or another lawful basis under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), before verifying their identity.
• You agree not to store, resell or misuse verification results, and you accept full responsibility for your use of these services.

You may not use KinaTrust to:

• commit fraud, money laundering or any unlawful act;
• verify identities without consent or a lawful basis;
• interfere with, reverse-engineer or abuse the platform, its APIs or its security measures;
• resell services in a manner that misrepresents your relationship with us.

We may suspend or close accounts involved in prohibited use and report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.

We aim for the platform to be available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Fulfilment of purchases depends on third-party networks and providers whose downtime is outside our control. Scheduled maintenance will be kept to a minimum.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the value of the affected transaction. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for failures caused by mobile networks, utility companies, examination bodies, identity providers or payment processors.

You may close your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. Before self-service closure, you must withdraw any remaining wallet balance and wait for pending payments to settle. Contact support if you cannot withdraw your balance.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the platform, and continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
