Three things, and you probably have two of them already:
Frequently asked questions
How many times can I use one WAEC result checker PIN?
A WAEC result checker PIN is valid for a limited number of uses on the same candidate's result (WAEC currently allows checking one result up to five times with one PIN). It cannot be reused for a different candidate or a different exam year.
WAEC says results are released but mine shows 'not available'. Why?
Results are uploaded in batches, and a small number are withheld for review. Wait a few hours and try again; if it persists for days, confirm your exam number and year are correct, then contact WAEC or your school.
Can I check my WAEC result without a scratch card?
You need a result checker PIN, but not a physical scratch card. A digital PIN bought online works exactly the same way — you get the PIN and serial number instantly instead of scratching a panel.
How long does my result stay available online?
WAEC keeps results on the portal for many years, but your PIN's checking allowance doesn't expire with time — it expires with use. Save a screenshot or printout the first time you check.

Instant delivery, secure payments — built on trust.
Your examination number — the 10-digit number on your exam photo card, made up of your centre number and your candidate number.
Your examination year and type — for example 2026, May/June (school candidates) or Nov/Dec (private candidates). Mixing these up is one of the commonest reasons a result "isn't found".
A WAEC result checker PIN and serial number — this is an official paid WAEC product. You can buy one instantly on Exam PINs; the PIN and serial appear on screen the moment payment clears, and they're saved to your Transactions history so you can't lose them.
Step-by-step: checking your result
Open WAEC's official result checker portal — waecdirect.org. Use the official site only; lookalike sites exist, and typing your PIN into one of them wastes one of its limited uses (or worse).
Enter your 10-digit examination number. Type it carefully — a single transposed digit will pull up nothing, or the wrong candidate.
Select your examination year and type. School candidates choose May/June; private candidates choose the Nov/Dec (GCE) series for their year.
Enter the PIN and serial number from your result checker card or digital purchase.
Submit and view your result. Your subject grades appear on screen. Print the page or save a clear screenshot immediately — your PIN allows a limited number of checks, so capture everything the first time.
That's the whole process. No queue, no middleman handling your PIN, no "come back tomorrow".
Common errors and how to fix them
"Result not available." WAEC uploads results in batches, so yours can lag the announcement by a few hours — and a small percentage of results are withheld for routine review. Try again later in the day. If it persists for more than a few days, re-confirm your exam number and year, then contact WAEC or your school before assuming the worst.
"Invalid PIN." Nine times out of ten this is a typing mix-up — the digit 1 and letter I, or 0 and the letter O. Retype the PIN slowly. If it still fails and you bought the card from a street vendor, you may be holding a used or fake card; this is exactly the risk a digitally issued PIN with a transaction reference removes.
"PIN usage exceeded." Each PIN covers a limited number of checks on one result. If relatives and friends have all "helped" you check, the allowance runs out. That's why the printout or screenshot on your first check matters — you rarely need the live portal again after that.
Where to get a result checker PIN instantly
If you don't have a PIN yet, you don't need to leave the house:
Create a KinaTrust account — it takes about two minutes.
Fund your wallet by card or bank transfer.
Open Exam PINs and choose the WAEC result checker.
Pay, and your PIN and serial number appear on screen instantly — plus a receipt in your Transactions history with a reference number you can always trace.
That reference number is the quiet advantage: if anything ever looks wrong with your PIN, support can trace exactly what was issued to you. A scratched card from a kiosk gives you no such trail.
